Check out the new HGP Drama Web Board set up by Steve Dombkoski at HGP Talents. The HGP Talents site will have information about upcoming practices and cast information. However, this website (tripod) will still be in use for anyone who continues to check it.

December 10th, 2003- SPRING SHOW TRYOUTS!
The Auditions for the spring show are going to be held on Monday, December 22nd at 6:00 in the HGP Music Room. The show is probably going to be the rock opera by the Who, but due to certain reasons, it cannot be completely annouced until the rights are cleared. Please prepare one song to sing. Modern and rock opera are acceptable, but classic rock is preferred. Bring a cd or accompaniment, and come out and try out!



November 25th, 2003- WONDERFUL JOB CAST, CREW & DIRECTORS!
The closing night of "An Evening of Extraordinary Drama" was excellent, and the president of the Drama Society would just like to thank all of the actors, actresses, directors, and crew members for making it a truly extraordinary show. Both performances were wonderful, and the new Fieldhouse was packed both Saturday & Sunday night! Again, congrats to all members of the Drama Society and please keep in touch!



November 23rd, 2003- OPENING NIGHT- EXCELLENT JOB!
Over 250 people attended the opening night for "An Evening of Extraordinary Drama." All of the actors and actresses did a wonderful job and the opening night can be considered one of the best in the history of the Drama Society.



November 20th, 2003- Dress Rehearsal Saturday afternoon at 4:00 PM. Pictures for the HGP Yearbook will be taken at 6:30 PM. Please bring bake goods and all money for tickets, T-Shirts, DVDs and Videos.


November 18th, 2003: Information for this week!

Wednesday- Working with separate directors in Cornwells' Hall. Starts at 6:30.

Thursday- Dress Rehearsal and Tech Run in the Fieldhouse. Starts at 6:30.

Friday- No Rehearsal

November 11th, 2003- Important Info Added!

The site has not been updated in awhile so here is some important information for the members of the Drama Society:

-The fall production is titled An Evening of Extraodinary Drama and it will run on Saturday, November 22nd at 7:30 and Sunday, November 23rd at 6:30 in the new Firebird Fieldhouse.

-The night includes seven selections from famous and popular dramas such as Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Hamlet, Henry V, Double O or Nothing, The Philadelphia, Plaza Suite, and Women and Wallace.

-Tickets are currently selling for $6 in Pre-sale, and they are $7 at the door. Cast members are asked to sell 10 Pre-sale tickets and more are available for sale if wanted.

-Videos, DVDs, and T Shirts will again be sold this year. Videos will cost $25.00. DVDs will cost $30.00. T Shirts will cost $16.00. Make sure all money is handed in by the first night of the play, Saturday, November 22. CASH is the preferred payment. If you pay by check, make the check to David Echelmeier. The T Shirts are ordered through the bookstore, and they will arrive after the play ends. We must have this money by November 22 as well in order to pay for the shipment. Please pay by CASH if possible. If you write a check for T Shirts, please make it to David Echelmeier.

-Lastly, a tech run of An Extraodinary Evening of Drama is tentatively being held on Sunday, November 16th, from 10 to 4 in the new fieldhouse.

August 27th, 2003- Auditions will be held for the HGP Fall Production this coming Tuesday, September 2nd at 7:00 PM in the Holy Ghost Cafeteria. The HGP Fall Production will be a culmination of 6 short dramas, ranging from Shakespeare to modern plays. More information will be posted when it becomes available, but please, everyone, come out and try out!
